I have a long haired cat whose hairs clogged my previous dirt devil vacumm. I purchased the power groom from wal-mart recently. I love it! For my first use, I had to empty it about three times before fully vacumming my small living room area (the vacuum that I had been using stop picking up my cat’s hairs so the carpet was quite full of cat hair for at least a few months). I absolutely reccommend this vacuum for those with pets with small apartments. The vacuum is very light weight too.
