Makes the Dyson DC16 Actually Useful,
I love the Dyson DC16 vacuum except for one thing- the frustration of having it stop working before I am done using it. The original battery that comes with it lasts only 5 minutes (when new) and after a few months of use the run time drops to less than 2-3 minutes. Great vacuum but the folks at Dyson dont seem to have a clue about batteries. This HQRP battery provides 1500mAh, which is much more than the battery that comes with the Dyson. Furthermore, it is cheaper than a standard (and highly overpriced) Dyson replacement. It works great, and I now have a run time of about 9 minutes. I am sure this will decrease over time, but for now, it makes the vacuum actually useful. Another reviewer noted that the battery did not fit well. Mine fit perfectly. Perhaps they updated the battery to make it fit better.
If I had this all to do over, I would not buy a DC16 or any other Dyson product that uses batteries. But having bought one, this battery almost makes me forget about the stupidity of my original purchase.
This battery comes with an HQRP coaster, which is about the ugliest coaster I have ever seen. You can astonish guests with your poor taste by using it. The coaster works quite well and is very large so one can use it for large drinks or a tea pot.
