This tool really does go flat. My queen bed is against the wall, and the flat out reaches all the way to the wall and keeps flat to the floor for powerful suction. It also goes all the way under my furniture, which varies from 2-3″ off the floor. I have an upright Dyson, and it works as a hose attachment. The handle on the hose turns to the side to reach under really low items. If you don’t like switching from hose to regular you could easily vacuum your whole floor with this one tool. It works especially well on hard wood and low pile rugs because it’s so flat to the floor that it has very powerful suction. I wouldn’t recommend it on high pile rugs.

Very useful for low rise areas like under couches, cabinets and beds. The attachment is worth every penny! Multiple adjustments make it easy to reach under any furniture.
