Our large vacuum cleaner bags for the Hoover last many months, but I have to change the bag before it’s full because of the eventual foul smell of accumulated dust and grime. I thought I’d try these tablets to see if they’d help.
Twelve tablets, each an inch in diameter, are in the package. The user may put a whole tab in the vacuum bag or crush the tablet into pieces first and then vacuum it into the bag. Breaking the tablet up is easy, but it releases a very strong aroma initially; thus I prefer to place the whole tablet in the bag.
The scent emanating from the bag during vacuuming is subtle and pleasant, at least after the strong aroma of the initial vacuuming. According to Oreck these tablets are non-toxic to humans and pets. I am not going to test that statement, but will accept it on faith.
