Bissell Filter Kit, 3093, 1 Upper Tank Filter and 1 Pre-Motor Filter – The Pre-Motor Filter protects the motor from dirt particles. It is located in the slide out tray underneath the Dirt Container. If the filter becomes dirty, pull out the ray, lift out the filter and clean. This filter may be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent. Rinse well and air dry thoroughly before replacing.

I wrecked my original filter when I washed it and then tried to remove excess moisture with a hair dryer (shut up…..I know it was dumb). The new filters fit well and were of similar compound. They work well.

|Hard to find these filters,
Replacement filters for my vacuum cleaners are hard to find, so I was pleased to find each of the 3 filters needed for each of my vacuum cleaners here on Amazon (that’s 6 different filters in all). Note that I did not even realize the vacuums had 3 filters each until reading other reviewers’ comments on Amazon, so I am glad the reviews are available. Changing the filters made a world of difference in the suction on the older of my two vacuums which I had previously considered replacing, and it got rid of a little haze of dust I had begun to see when starting the newer one, that was the reason I started looking for new filters to begin with. I’m happy I found them here.
