Does just what its supposed to do! apparently you cant wash them like it says if you want a stinky smell when you vaccumm! I ordered a new filter from here and my vac. works better and no more smells!

Its much easier with these washable filters that need 24 hours to dry well to just go ahead and buy an extra one, especially if you live in a dusty area and might vacuum frequently or want to change the filter between some rooms to maximize dust collection.
