This is a serious upgrade for a vacuum cleaner. It turned my low-end vacuum cleaner into a much more efficient machine. I purchased because my belt broke and then somehow fried the factory-installed roller brush. I sought an inexpensive alternative and found this. It arrived a couple of days after purchase (faster than estimated), installed easily, and I resumed vacuuming. Going over the same ground as had been vacuumed two days before, in an infrequently used room, I filled the canister — twice — with dirt and dust the vacuum apparently couldn’t pick up before. I’m a guy… slightly, stereotypically slobbish, perhaps… but I admit to becoming sort of obsessive in vacuuming after that. I consider my vacuum cleaner a power tool now. Downside: packaging did not reveal the location of manufacture — I’m on a buy USA (and affiliates) kick these days, and would like to know. But whoever it is that’s making these: good job.
