I am using this sensor with the Roomba 805. The 805 came with 2 sensors that I use in halo mode to keep the robot away from the pet bowls, but I found it routinely getting stuck under an ottoman sitting on a shag carpet in my living room. Placing this 3rd sensor under neath the ottoman (also in halo mode) has kept the Roomba out of there.

It dosnt have that much range of coverage, I bough it for the christmast tree and didn’t work properly, Im using it now to block the access to a carpet and for some reason doest work over 8 feels, the other model with the IRobot works perfectly.

Our cleaning robot needs to be told where not to go. These little wonders keep it contained. i have had 3 for several months and the batteries are still working well .They are very inconspicuous and do the job well.
