Does Not Fit Roomba 595!, August 22, 2014

I cannot comment on the quality of the product because they DID NOT FIT MY ROOMBA 595 PET SERIES (purchased at Costco). They would bind and cause the Roomba to generate an error. The Roomba would make a weird clicking sound when they were installed. The brushes were a different color than the ones that came with it. I contacted I-Robot, and was told that the model 595 actually requires model 600 series brushes. What in the world was I-Robot thinking?

Wow, these made all the difference! I was near ready to return / dispose of my Roomba, it was just not picking up instead “spreading or pushing” dirt around. I could not find the problem for some time until I discovered the power side of the brush had slightly rounded edge where it was supposed to be square plastic. A test of the turning of the brush with some “extra” resistance showed sure enough, the brush would stop turning by leveraging the wiggle room (left to right) and would stop engaging. I ordered these as soon as this was discovered and have to say they seem to be working better than the original brush that came with the unit. I’ve been using it twice weekly for the whole house, no problems and clean floors and carpets!
