I just used this Lickity Split on my friends carpet – her daughter spilt almost the whole bottle of dark purple nail polish – the carpet was ruined! They tried nail polish remover, water and rubbing alchohol etc to no avail. So, wasn’t too worried about the ‘test on hidden area of carpet first’ warning. We totally soaked each blemish (after it has hardened in the carpet for a couple weeks), and rubbed with a towel once it had soaked in. Miraculous recovery, and may save them loosing their deposit on their lease! Ordering 3 more bottles!

Someone told me to use Nail Polish Remover to get rid of the adhesive left over from two stickers. It did not work, there was still that sticky residue. I found this in my house, and about 15 seconds later there was absolutely NO residue left over. I was amazed.
