We have really low pile carpet and a long-haired cat, and the pure suction head wasn’t working well enough on the hair. This turbo brush does the job well. The amount of suction applied to the brush speed is adjustable, so if you devote more of it to turning the brush it will reduce the suction somewhat but it still seems like plenty of suction when on full blast turbobrush.
