This review is from: Type SF-AH30 Charcoal Activated HEPA Filter for Miele S300-S600 S2 S7 vacuum cleaners. By Green Label. (Kitchen)

It was time to re-filter the old reliable Miele vac (S316i model). A nice piece of work, actually, and the quietest vac around. But then sticker shock hit: fifty bucks for a dumb air filter??? I am a great admirer of German engineering, but, come on, it’s some folded paper in a plastic frame. This Asian clone looked fine, and at its price (not that much of a super bargain, but whatever) was worth a shot. Bottom line: it is a frustrating fit out of the box. It is just a bit too wide to simply snap in snugly and reassuringly like the Miele filters do. You can actually deform the filter into position, but that just leaves the front clasp barely locked. Solution: trim the rear edge a bit. Just takes a minute of scraping, and then it fits fine.
