I finally found what I was looking for.,
After searching store after store after store, I finally found the Black & Decker filter I had been looking for on Amazon.com. My hand-held vacuum was less than 6 months old but no one sold it anymore. It was soo frustrating! The directions say you can “wash” the filter but mine was so dirty and I have a child with respiratory problems and I have to keep things clean and free of dust and dirt particles. When I ordered mine from Amazon, I got 3 because the cost was so low.
Why make the thing and not sell the parts?! I wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble if I didn’t like it so much! It’s the best hand held vacuum with stretching hose but the best part is the “pet care nozzle” that comes with it. Nothing has worked better at getting our dogs hair out of the carpet stairs and off the sofa, beds, you name it.
The other great thing about Amazon.com is they sell the actual vacuum as well and for much less than I paid at a retail store.
