Don’t let the cheapness of the way this vacuum looks scare you away. It will “nearly” suck the carpet up from your floors. The foot print is smaller than most new vacuums today; a feature I really like because it gets between a lot of furniture. I love the long cord and that the vacuum is light weight. I do miss the suction hose tools but this vacuum is so light weight that for many pieces of furniture (sofa) I just pick it up and run it over my sofa. Cons: sucks so hard you can not vacuum bath and pet mats because it will eat them and break the vacuum. Also, there is not a height adjustment so you can NOT vacuum thick pile carpet. After 2 months, I had to have it serviced –my mistake due to the pet mats and trying to vacuum a modern shag rug. These cons are a small price to pay for such a light weight vacuum. I’ve had this vacuum for 2 years and find because of its light weight and ease of use, I vacuum more often.

I actually purchased this vacuum at Big Lots for around $85. I have had it for about a year and it is still going strong. The vacuum bags for it cost a little more than most, but can be found online. As far as the reviewer who complains about it getting clogged—HELLO! This is not an industrial commercial strength vacuum. The bag probably was not changed soon enough, thus the clog. This comes with a 2 year warranty, too. Not too many vacuums out there in this price range come with that. I also really like the fact that it has no onboard tools to worry about getting in the way and falling off. It is lightweight and easy to operate.
