Wow, when I saw the size of this foam filter compared to the previous style paper filter, I was really concerned. We have a Centralux vacuum. Then I followed the encouragement of another buyer who said the center nut that holds the filter will work. The filter is cut in the center to allow the foam at its core area to collapse as you apply the nut that fastens the filter into place. This allows the nut to snug up within the center of the filter for a great fit.

This was a perfect replacement filter for our Centralux E130F. It was one third the cost of my local dealer and I was shock to find that it appears to be the same filter. There appears to be another filter that is also compatible which is white in color , smaller outside diameter, but with the same height and inside diameter. I don’t know the difference in application and neither did my local dealer.

My Vacuum system came with the larger diameter blue filter which is identical to this filter. I was told by my dealer that either will work.

Needless to say at 1/3 the cost I will be making my source the same for future replacements.
